Our rating system, like Spinal Tap's amplifiers, goes to 11:

1 = I stayed at the show (or listened to the CD) only because I felt obligated to write the review and it was painful.
2 = Meh.
3 = They had one or two decent songs but everything else was mediocre to bad.
4 = Maybe four decent songs mixed in with mediocre to bad music.
5 = The music was okay. Not terrible but not good.
6 = The show or CD was average, pretty good, I may go see them or listen to it again.
7 = This was a good show/CD. I dig them.
8 = This band is great and I will definitely see them again!
9 = This band is awesome! I will do whatever it takes to see their next gig.
10 = Holy moly, these guys were so amazing that I followed them home!
11 = I orgasmed at the show (leave out anything that happens in a bathroom please). These guys are the best of the best, one of the top five shows I've ever been to.
