    Elizabeth Willis

    By: Rei Thompson
    Rating: 8/11

The single facet that will keep the name Elizabeth Willis in the minds of music heads for years to come is that voice. It is one that carries the husky sound of Melissa Etheridge with the honesty of a younger Tracy Chapman. In all seriousness, the lyrics are not award-worthy, but it is the lilting manner in which Willis carries her voice over multiple notes that keeps your ears lingering for more. For an opportunity to hear Willis live, she will be part of the musical lineup at the World Radio Music Awards on May 21.
