Ebon Grace

By: Ben Salvo

Rating: 4/11

Ebon Grace could definitely find a following, presented to the right audience. It is meant for old people and made by old people, but old people are still running things here in America. So, until there is a youthful overthrow of the landed geriatric gentry, gospel lounge acts and pop pianist collaboration projects will continue to thrive. Despite a desperate need for new recording equipment, Ebon Grace offers soulful and somewhat inspirational songs that probably soothe world-weary thrice-divorced broken hearts and attempt the brave navigation of the modern mid-life crisis blues. Tracks “Feel Like” and “Ain’t Easy Loving You” are some soft-rock samples of Ebon Grace at their very best.
