    Girls in Trouble and Café Orwell

    Girls in Trouble, an acoustic folk act with some vague religious references in their lyrics, describe themselves as “post biblical art pop.” They’re a four-piece led by singer/songwriter Alicia Jo Rabins (who also plays violin in the klezmer punk band Golem) with two acoustic guitars, upright bass, drums, and accordion, and I saw them at Café Orwell in Bushwick.
